Pilates
Core strength, controlled breath

Pilates works the body through slow, precise movements: every exercise is controlled from the centre outward, building strength in the deep core and postural muscles while improving flexibility and body awareness.
Although Pilates is a discipline of its own, the way I teach it carries the same spirit as the yoga classes: every movement follows an inhale or an exhale, using breath as its vehicle, sequences are offered without competition or a fixed shape to reach, and a class often closes with a few still minutes borrowed from Yin, so the muscles can settle into what they've just built.
What a class looks like
- Slow, controlled exercises that engage the deep core and postural muscles.
- Every movement synced to the breath, the same breath-first principle used across the yoga classes.
- Sequences built for precision over repetition: quality of movement matters more than how many reps.
- A closing stretch inspired by Yin, to let the muscles release after the work.
Good to know
- Open to every level: sequences are offered with variations, never as a competition.
- Around 50 to 60 minutes, in studio in Belluno and the Cadore area.
- Bring a mat and comfortable clothes; no equipment or previous experience required.
